The grand media conference for the film Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, the very first big-screen project of rising new-generation loveteam Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga—better known as AshDres—was successfully held today, August 27, at Le Rêve Events Place in Quezon City.
The event gathered members of the press as well as fan groups who have been rooting for the fresh tandem.
Hosted by VIVA’s talented host CJ Villavicencio, the mediacon featured not only AshDres but also the movie’s director, critically-acclaimed filmmaker Jason Paul Laxamana.
One of the most kilig-worthy moments of the afternoon was when Andres and Ashtine made their entrance while Earl Agustin and Dana Paulene serenaded the crowd, creating a scene straight out of a wedding reception—making fans gush as if the two were a “newlywed couple” walking into their celebration.
The mediacon also treated attendees to a special 2-minute scene drop from the film, giving everyone a sneak peek that left fans buzzing with excitement.
Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna is set to hit cinemas on September 24 and will also have international screenings, with the possibility of Andres and Ashtine personally attending.
