Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon has requested the Department of Justice (DOJ) to issue an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan and several other individuals to monitor their travel in and out of the country.
Aside from Bonoan, Dizon also sought the inclusion of Candaba, Pampanga Mayor Rene Maglanque and key officers of MBB Global Properties: Sunshine Bernardo, daughter of former DPWH Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo; Macy Monique Maglanque, daughter of Mayor Maglanque; and Fatima Gay dela Cruz, daughter of Bonoan.
“Medyo may conflict of interest dun, so, at di natin alam kung ano yung extent nung kompanya, yung dami ng flood control projects, yung extent ng kanilang kontrata kagaya ng sinabi ni Sen. Ping Lacson at kailangan yun imbestigahan ng mabuti,” Dizon said.
The move follows revelations made by Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson in a privilege speech, linking Bonoan to MBB Global Properties, a firm allegedly tied to Globalcrete Builders, Inc.
Globalcrete, owned by Mayor Maglanque, reportedly secured multi-billion peso contracts for flood control projects in Bulacan from 2018 to 2024.
