VIBE just got bigger, louder, and brighter! The country’s biggest and freshest OPM music countdown show officially raised the bar as it took over the newly renovated Meralco Theater in Ortigas, Pasig City — marking a new milestone in its vibrant journey of celebrating Original Pinoy Music.
The night kicked off with a powerful opening number featuring Vibe Jock ladies Ana Ramsey, Queenay, and Maxie Andreison performing “Sampa Na” and “Puwede Ba?” The energy soared even higher when MMJ rocked the stage with “Hypa,” joined by Vibe Jock boys Ryle, Paulo, Kych, and Joao, who showcased their smooth dance moves.
Adding more fire to the opening act, Vibe Jocks Dylan and Elijah, together with VXON’s Sam and C13, wrapped up the explosive intro with a fierce rendition of Gloc-9’s hit “Bagsakan.”
UPRISING STAGE HIGHLIGHTS
Taking the top spot on the Uprising Leaderboard, One Click Straight delivered a soulful performance of their latest single “Relapse.”
The band shared, “Alam mo yung feeling na kala mo, ito na yun. I will get over this person, per hindi pa ready. Ayun, sinu-stalk sa IG.”
The celebration continued with a surprise birthday tribute for Vibe Jocks Maxie Andreison and Dylan Menor. Dylan expressed his gratitude: “Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat for coming here… really appreciated.”
He wished for more family time and work opportunities, while Maxie thanked her fans and the Vibe family for their endless love and support, adding, “Nagpapasalamat ako sa inyong lahat dahil nandyan kayo everytime na kailangan ko kayo ng pagmamahal niyo.”
MAIN VIBE STAGE
The Main Vibe segment opened with Sunkissed Lola, performing their chart-topping wedding anthem “Pasilyo”.
The band revealed that “Pasilyo” was inspired by a dream about marriage: “Nanaginip ako ng 3 consecutive nights na kinakasal ako, so sabi ko why not make a wedding song out of it.”
Up next, Dylan Menor performed his hit single “Sumasaiyo,” which recently topped the charts. He revealed that the song was written by Alvin Bino of Sunkissed Lola and thanked VIBE, his Dylan Homies, and Dylan Dreamers for their support.
Calein capped off the Main Vibe segment with their 2019 hit “Umaasa,” expressing their surprise and gratitude for ranking at the top of last Sunday’s chart.
OG STAGE PERFORMANCES
The OG Stage brought pure nostalgia, starting with South Border, who performed their timeless hits “Kahit Kailan” and “Rainbow.” The band shared that “Kahit Kailan” was their first-ever release back in 1996, saying that “Pagmamahal” is the one word that defines their longevity and strength in the music industry.
Closing the night with class and charisma, Sing Galing’s iconic Jukeboss Rey Valera took the stage to perform “Pangako,” “Maging Sino Ka Man,” and “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko.”
Before performing, he told the crowd, “Isa lang masasabi ko, maganda ang taste niyo,” then humorously added about the audience’s phone flashlights, “Alam niyo yung pag nandito ka, at nakikita mo yun, ang feeling alam niyo kung ano? Para kang dinadala sa huling hantungan.”
