Two big programs are set to captivate viewers as TV5 teams up with Studio VIVA, the film and TV production arm of VIVA Entertainment, to kick off the “Ber” months with exciting new content.
KRISSHROME’S PARA SA ISA’T-ISA
After months of anticipation, fans of Jerome Ponce and Krissha Viaje can finally celebrate as the loveteam stars in their very first TV series together, Para Sa Isa’t-Isa.
The story follows Zion Magtibay (Jerome) and Erin Revina (Krissha)—high school rivals who eventually fall in love, get married, but find their relationship falling apart ten years later. In a desperate attempt to fix what was broken, Zion makes a wish at a magical wishing well… and wakes up ten years earlier, at a time when Erin had not even met him.
Para Sa Isa’t-Isa premieres on September 13, airing every Saturday at 5:30 PM under TV5’s Weekend Trip block.
BAD GENIUS: THE SERIES
Meanwhile, Pinoy viewers will also get to watch the much-awaited Philippine adaptation of the global hit Bad Genius—the blockbuster Thai movie and series that made waves across Asia.
The local version stars Hyacinth Callado, Gab Lagman, Jairus Aquino, and Atasha Muhlach in her first-ever lead role. Atasha plays Lin, a brilliant student who masterminds a high-stakes academic cheating scheme for money. The series tackles themes of social inequality, ambition, and friendship, while incorporating uniquely Filipino family values and dynamics.
Bad Genius: The Series will premiere this October under TV5’s Primetime Primera block.
