Last Sunday’s episode of VIBE was nothing short of unforgettable as the stage lit up with legendary OPM bands and fresh rising acts, giving fans a night to remember.
The evening opened with timeless hits from Neocolours, who serenaded the crowd with “Say You’ll Never Go,” “Hold On”—famous for its inclusion in a well-loved Korean drama—and the iconic anthem “Tuloy Pa Rin,” often regarded as the soundtrack of Filipino lives.
Adding rock energy to the night, the respected OPM band Agaw Agimat returned to the VIBE stage with “Sabi Nila.” The group highlighted the meaning behind their music, emphasizing love for country regardless of age: “Kahit bata pa tayo, pwede na nating mahalin ang bayan. Nasa isip at puso yun.”
Zelle Band took listeners on an emotional ride with “Sabihin,” then teamed up with Kritiko for a fiery performance of “Upuan.” Kritiko’s hard-hitting lines—“Bato-bato ang matamaan sana sumalangit”—resonated with the audience, with Zelle noting that the track had become a “boses ng masa.”
The night also welcomed Brisom, who performed “Balewala,” the Top Uprising Song of the Week, marking their first-ever performance on the VIBE stage.
In a special highlight, STELL’s “Classic” earned the VIBE-tier Award for dominating the top spot for four consecutive weeks. Fans, known as BERRIES, celebrated this milestone with unmatched energy and dedication.
The MAIN VIBE lineup kept the momentum going with Magnus Haven’s “Multo” and Eliza Maturan’s “Ikaw, Ikaw, Ikaw” ft. ICEBOX, with ICEBOX sharing a heartfelt video message for their 2nd spot on the week’s leaderboard.
Closing the show with pure fun, the VIBE Jocks performed “Samalamig” and hyped the crowd with an energetic Budots dance. Before the number, Vibe Jock Maxie reminded fans: “Ang Budots ay pangkasiyahan natin, hindi para manlinlang sa ating mga abusado!”
