The AIHASTO Discord server, a known hub for Miside’s game updates, is facing a severe internal crisis following the sudden removal of key moderation staff, the revocation of a major community project, and alarming allegations of improper conduct and content violations by current leadership.
Simon, a former deputy administrator and project lead for the DDLC x MiSide collaboration event, publicly announced his departure and the withdrawal of the project from AIHASTO, citing an unjustified dismissal and a lack of transition process.
“This was an initiative I planned and managed independently,” Simon stated. “I cannot in good conscience continue supporting a leadership that disregards accountability and fairness.”
Background: Security Breach and Lack of Transparency
The controversy began on May 20, 2025, when AIHASTO was hit by a coordinated raid involving ten malicious accounts. Internal investigations later revealed that eight of these accounts were manually verified by current staff members, including moderators known as Headshoot and Illidan.
Calls for transparency were led by Simon and fellow admin Lily, who requested verification logs and accountability from those involved. However, these efforts were met with resistance. Illidan reportedly refused to cooperate, while Headshoot remained unresponsive. Soon after, both Simon and Lily were removed from their roles without formal misconduct claims or warnings.
Server leader Toka cited vague “security concerns” as the reason for the removals.
Controversial Reinstatements and Allegations of Content Mismanagement
Adding to the unrest, several users — Zoey, Nofar, and Flintlock — who had previously been banned for staff abuse and disruptive behavior, were reinstated without team consensus.
In the wake of these events, Simon released a statement accompanied by redacted screenshots alleging even more serious issues: the creation and tolerance of explicit and potentially illegal content within the server.
According to the statement:
Leadership allegedly encouraged the creation of NSFW channels.
Reports from users suggest child sexual abuse material (CSAM) had been shared.
The server’s head admin, Toka, and owner, Umeerai, were allegedly aware of this and failed to take appropriate action, with Toka reportedly asking staff to “stay quiet” about the matter.
“This goes beyond a violation of Discord’s Terms of Service. It represents a potential legal and safety crisis,” the statement warns.
All graphic material has since been redacted for safety and legal reasons.
Apology to Affected Communities
Simon expressed deep regret to the DDLC community and other event participants, many of whom were uninvolved in the server’s internal disputes.
“To those who supported or participated — I’m sorry your involvement has been disrupted by issues beyond your control.”
Current Status and Next Steps
As of this publication, AIHASTO leadership has not issued a formal response. Community members and external observers are now calling for a third-party investigation and potential platform intervention.
The server remains active but under scrutiny, with numerous users leaving and public trust deteriorating rapidly.
