PASTEL∞MIX traces its roots back to 2008 under the name “Nyan Nyan,” founded by Emi, Rhona, and Mari as a small trio performing covers of Japanese idol songs, including those from Buono!. By 2010, the group expanded its repertoire with performances inspired by AKB48, eventually evolving into the larger collective now known as PASTEL∞MIX
Their breakthrough came in 2017 after performing at Manila Idol Matsuri, opening doors to wider opportunities within the local idol community.
In 2024, the group marked a major milestone with the release of their first original track, Tonton Byoushi, composed by Daichi san of MCDOG Works. More original songs are currently in development, with plans for digital releases in the near future.
