It was pure kilig overload at the VIVArkada Grand Fan Concert on August 15 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum when the new-generation phenomenal loveteam Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga — known as AshDres — took the stage for a heart-melting duet.
The two performed “Minamahal” by Earl Agustin, the official soundtrack of their upcoming movie of the same title. But the moment that truly had fans screaming wasn’t just the song — it was what came after.
With the spotlight still on them, Andres turned to Ashtine and delivered a message that sent the crowd into a frenzy:
“Ashtine Olviga, I’m really really really proud of you,” he said.
“You see this? Ang galing. You know Ash, I truly want to say that I truly appreciate you, and starting my journey. You know, I wouldn’t have wished to have done it with anyone else.”
“You are not only a blessing into my life, but also a blessing to many other here today.”
Ashtine, smiling, replied:
“Proud na proud din ako sa’yo and sobrang happy ko din na ikaw yung kasama ko dito.”
