ALDEN RICHARDS DEBUTS AS DIRECTOR IN “OUT OF ORDER” PREMIERE

The highly anticipated premiere night of Out of Order took place last Sunday, September 28, at Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City.

The film marks a major career milestone for Kapuso leading man Alden Richards, who not only stars in the movie but also takes on the dual roles of producer and director for the first time. He is joined on-screen by Heaven Peralejo, Joyce Ching, Nonie Buencamino, Soliman Cruz, and Nicco Manalo.

Alden candidly admitted the challenges he faced in directing his debut film.

“Since this is my debut as a director, binuhat nila ako lahat. Nagbuhatan kami lahat dito sa pelikula,” Richards shared.

He recalled the sleepless nights and pressure of leadership on set:
“I read the script five times. ’Di ako makatulog sa gabi. Everyone looks to you in terms of command. I told myself, ‘Parang dapat hindi mo masyadong ginagawang mental lahat, just go with it.’”

Co-star Heaven Peralejo praised Alden’s directing style, describing him as “hands-on” and meticulous.

“As a director, yes, detailed siya. Gusto niya, may certain type siya na gusto, like kung paano ibabato ang mga linya. Na-appreciate ko ’yung mga ganoong bagay kesa ’yung kailangan ko pang kapain kung ano talaga ang gusto niya,” Peralejo said.

Produced by VIVA Films, Studio VIVA, and Alden’s own Myriad Entertainment, Out of Order will be available for streaming worldwide on Netflix starting October 2 (Thursday).
