Following its successful local run at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), the official MMFF entry of MQuest Ventures, Cignal Entertainment, and Spring Films, “Manila’s Finest,” is now set for international release.
According to an announcement posted on the official social media account of MQuest Ventures, “Manila’s Finest” will begin screening in cinemas across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting January 16 (Friday).
Partnering with VIVA Films for its overseas rollout, the film is expected to resonate strongly with Filipinos abroad. Its story centers on the injustices experienced in 1969, just a few years before the declaration of Martial Law, offering audiences a powerful and timely reflection on a dark and defining period in Philippine history.
Manila’s Finest previously made headlines after winning eight awards at the 2025 MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, including the 3rd Best Picture award—an achievement that underscored both its artistic merit and cultural relevance.
Despite its upcoming international screenings, the film continues to be shown locally and is still playing in 55 cinemas nationwide, giving Filipino audiences more opportunities to experience the critically acclaimed movie on the big screen.
