The first premiere night of the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Manila’s Finest” was successfully held last night, Monday, December 15, at Robinsons Manila.

Sponsored by the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), the event drew a large crowd of fans, content creators, and members of the MMFF executive committee. The premiere was graced by the cast and filmmakers behind the highly anticipated crime-drama.

Present during the premiere night were lead stars Piolo Pascual and Enrique Gil, along with Joey Marquez, Ashtine Olviga, Rica Peralejo, Kiko Estrada, Cedrick Juan, Dylan Menor, Pearl Gonzales, Inday Fatima, Tyke Sanchez, Achilles Ador, King Gonzales, and the film’s director, Raymond Red.

The cast and director assured viewers that audiences will strongly relate to “Manila’s Finest,” as the story centers on Manila police officers navigating the challenges of being law enforcers amid corruption and injustice in 1969. The film’s themes are seen as reflective of present-day realities in the Philippines, particularly issues surrounding corruption and controversial flood control projects.

Produced by MQuest Ventures, in partnership with Cignal Entertainment and Spring Films, “Manila’s Finest” is set to open in cinemas nationwide starting December 25 as part of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
