MQuest Ventures has officially released the teaser for its upcoming action-drama film, “Manila’s Finest.”
The 1-minute and 9-second teaser offers a gripping look into the life of a Manila police officer during the country’s years under dictatorship, told through the story of Homer Magtibay, portrayed by Piolo Pascual.
Joining Pascual in the film are Enrique Gil, Joey Marquez, Romnick Sarmienta, and Ariel Rivera. The powerhouse cast also includes Rica Peralejo, Inday Fatima, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Dylan Menor, Ethan David, Cedrick Juan, Kiko Estrada, Soliman Cruz, and Ashtine Olviga as Agnes Magtibay, a pivotal character who serves as the voice that awakens the youth to the harsh realities of society.
Written by Moira Lang, Sherad Sanchez, and Michiko Yamamoto, and directed by Raymond Red, “Manila’s Finest” continues MQuest Ventures’ tradition of producing world-class and thought-provoking films—following its acclaimed works such as “Rosario,” “Big Night,” “GomBurZa,” and “The Kingdom.”
“Manila’s Finest” under MQuest Ventures, Cignal and Spring Films, will premiere in cinemas nationwide starting December 25, as part of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
