PIOLO PASCUAL, ENRIQUE GIL SHARE EXPERIENCES ON SET OF “MANILA’S FINEST”

Piolo Pascual and Enrique Gil happily shared their experiences while filming “Manila’s Finest,” one of the entries for the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

In an interview with entertainment journalist MJ Marfori, Piolo said, “It was a fun set, you know, everyone was happy even we were pressured watching the rushes na na-amaze ako dun sa cinematography, na-amaze ako sa ganda ng concept.”

Enrique added, “Parang painting yung mga shots eh.”

Piolo also expressed admiration for rising star Ashtine Olviga, who plays Agnes, his character Homer’s daughter.

“I’m impressed kasi kahit gaano ka-busy yung bata, she did her homework, maganda yung binigay ni Ashtine you know, nakakatuwa kasi very eager to learn and napaka-humble sa set,” he said.

The cast is set to participate in several promotional activities, including nationwide outreach events.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Raymond Red, “Manila’s Finest” explores injustices in the Philippines in 1969 and how law enforcers balance duty and love for the country.

Produced by MQuest Ventures, Cignal, and Spring Films, the movie will premiere in theaters nationwide on December 25, Christmas Day.
