Are you ready to feel the chills again this Christmas?
Regal Entertainment, Inc. on Friday, October 3, released the official teaser for Shake Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins, the latest installment in the iconic horror franchise.
The teaser gave audiences a glimpse of its three terrifying segments set across different eras—the past (1775), the present (2025), and the future (2050).
Directed by Shugo Praico, Joey de Guzman, and Ian Loreños, the film features a powerhouse cast led by Richard Gutierrez, Carla Abellana, and Ivana Alawi. Joining them are original Shake Rattle and Roll stars Janice de Belen and Manilyn Reynes, who are set to deliver nostalgia along with fresh scares.
Also part of the lineup are new-generation horror talents Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Fyang Smith, JM Ibarra, and Dustin Yu.
This film marks the much-awaited return of Shake Rattle and Roll to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The franchise first terrified Filipino audiences in 1984 and has since become a Christmas tradition for fans of local horror.
Shake Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins will hit theaters nationwide on December 25 as part of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival.
