ACCUSED IN BULACAN GHOST PROJECT CASE PLEAD NOT GUILTY

Former Bulacan First District Assistant Engineer Brice Hernandez and two co-accused of former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. pleaded not guilty to graft charges over an alleged ₱92.8-million ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.

Hernandez, Engr. Jaypee Mendoza, and Christina Pineda entered their pleas before the Sandiganbayan’s Fourth Division. Their co-accused, Engr. Arjay Domasig, who recently ended the services of his counsel, requested to be arraigned at a later date.

Domasig is scheduled for arraignment on February 9, along with Revilla and Juanito Mendoza, whose counsels earlier filed omnibus motions. All accused will also face arraignment on the same day for malversation charges.

Last January 23, Engr. Emelita Juat likewise pleaded not guilty to her graft charge.

The court, chaired by Associate Justice Michael Musngi, set February 13 for the stipulation of facts, listing of witnesses, and marking of exhibits. A pretrial for the arraigned parties is scheduled on February 19.
