Senator Bam Aquino on Tuesday urged the public to remain vigilant to ensure that national spending, especially in the education sector, is implemented properly.
As chairman of the Senate Committee on Basic Education, Aquino highlighted that the ₱1.35 trillion earmarked for education will fund additional classrooms, free school meals, and other programs benefiting students.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara also noted that the proposed 2026 national budget, recently ratified by Congress, is structured to ensure government spending produces tangible improvements in student learning outcomes.
