Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga has taken a sharp jab at President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. following the revelations made by former Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co.
In a Facebook post on Friday, November 14, Barzaga asserted that it should be Marcos—not Co—who must face consequences over the alleged ₱100-billion budget insertion linked to the President.
“100 billion pala ang budget insertions ni Marcos, siya dapat ang magpasko sa kulungan,” Barzaga wrote.
Co recently broke his silence through a series of video statements posted on Facebook, where he directly named Marcos as supposedly involved in the controversial budget insertions.
Barzaga, who supported Marcos during the 2022 presidential campaign, has repeatedly criticized the President amid growing allegations of corruption within the government.
He has also expressed plans to file an impeachment complaint against Marcos in the House of Representatives, although it remains unclear how the process will unfold or whether it will move forward.
