Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) Chairperson and former Bayan Muna Partylist Representative Teddy Casiño made it clear that supporters of President Bongbong Marcos and those pushing for Vice President Sara Duterte’s presidential bid are “not welcome” at the November 30 rally in Luneta.
Speaking in a press briefing on Wednesday, November 19, Casiño clarified that while the planned mass action is open to all, there are specific exceptions when it comes to BBM supporters and Duterte Diehard Supporters (DDS).
The Kilusang Kontra Kurakot (KBKK) earlier confirmed that its “Baha sa Luneta 2.0” protest will push through on November 30, with organizers expecting hundreds of thousands to join.
The rally will also coincide with the “Trillion Peso March” at the EDSA People Power Monument, mirroring the large-scale protest actions held last September 21.
