More than 80 churches across the country have expressed support for the large-scale “Trillion Peso March” set for Sunday, November 30, according to the non-profit organization Caritas Philippines.
In a Facebook post on Friday, November 28, the group announced that 86 churches from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are now joining the call for government accountability.

“A total of 86 dioceses and counting!—are now united in support of the Trillion Peso March. Isang napakalakas na panawagan para sa katotohanan, pananagutan, at tunay na transparency. Tuloy ang pagkakaisa. Tuloy ang laban,” Caritas stated.
They further emphasized that to win what they describe as the Filipino people’s fight against corruption, it is crucial to expose wrongdoers, recover public funds, and ensure justice.

“Sama-sama sa iisang panawagan:
Ilantad ang mga kriminal.
Ibalik ang pera ng bayan.
Ikulong ang mga kurakot.Para ipanalo ang sambayanang Pilipinas,” the group added.
Among those joining the movement from Luzon are the Archdiocese of Manila (NCR), Archdiocese of Caceres, Diocese of Libmanan, and the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay.

From the Visayas, participating dioceses include the Archdiocese of Jaro, Diocese of Bacolod, and Diocese of Naval.
From Mindanao, the Archdiocese of Cotabato, Diocese of Butuan, and Diocese of Tandag have also pledged support.
The growing list signals widespread solidarity from the Church sector ahead of the nationwide protest against corruption.
