The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has announced the temporary suspension of all voter registration activities across the country in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
According to the COMELEC advisory, the suspension will take effect from noon of October 30, Thursday, until November 2, Sunday, to give way to the nationwide commemoration of Undas.
The poll body resumed its nationwide voter registration last week for the upcoming 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE). The registration period runs from October 20, 2025, to May 18, 2026, excluding areas under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, which will have a separate registration schedule next year.
