The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has distributed more than 2.2 million family food packs (FFPs) to residents affected by Typhoon Tino and Super Typhoon Uwan across various provinces in recent days.
In a Facebook update on Sunday, November 23, the agency said it also delivered ready-to-eat food (RTEF) boxes as part of its emergency response.

“Mabilis na nakapagpaabot ang DSWD ng 2,216,333 kahon ng family food packs (FFPs) at 24,455 na mga ready-to-eat food (RTEF) boxes sa mga lalawigang matinding naapektuhan ng Bagyong #TinoPH at #UwanPH, as of 6AM ngayong Linggo (Nobyembre 23),” the DSWD reported.
The agency said the assistance forms part of its augmentation support to local government units across all 17 regions.
The DSWD earlier distributed FFPs to residents affected by the recent earthquake in Cebu.
