Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro was absent during the Senate deliberation on the agency’s proposed 2026 budget, prompting Senator Jinggoy Estrada to ask about her whereabouts.
During the Senate plenary session on Tuesday, November 25, Estrada inquired, “I just want to know, where is Atty. Claire Castro? Because she has a lot of fans here.”
Senator Loren Legarda, who sponsored the PCO’s budget, responded that Castro was attending a media literacy campaign seminar. Meanwhile, PCO Secretary Dave Gomez was present at the hearing.
Still curious, Estrada added, “I’m just wondering where Atty. Claire Castro is right now.”
