EX-VP SARA SPOX MUNSAYAC DENIES CONNECTION TO MADRIAGA AFFIDAVIT

Atty. Reynold Munsayac, former spokesperson of Vice President Sara Duterte, denied any link to Ramil Madriaga, the self-proclaimed former “bagman” of the Vice President.

According to Munsayac, Madriaga’s affidavit is entirely fabricated and ‘one big nonsense.’ He stressed that he does not know Madriaga personally and has had no dealings with him.

His only connection to the group Inday Sara Duterte Is My President (ISIP) is through Atty. Ryan Quilala.

“I do not know him personally and never had any dealings with him. My interaction with the group ISIP is limited to Atty. Ryan Quilala,” Munsayac said.

He added that the allegations stem from a “polluted source” and are inconsistent with logic and ordinary human experience. Munsayac emphasized that believing a story requires not only a credible source but also a credible narrative.

Madriaga’s affidavit implicated Munsayac in the alleged transport of money on orders from VP Sara.

It also claimed that Madriaga founded ISIP in 2020, under instructions from then-Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, with funding allegedly coming from POGO operators and drug dealers, involving some of VP Sara’s law school classmates from San Sebastian College of Law.
