GRAB, MOVE IT LAUNCH PROGRAMS TO HELP DRIVERS COPE WITH RISING FUEL COSTS

Ride-hailing platforms Grab and Move It have introduced support programs to help drivers manage surging fuel costs and protect their earnings.

In a statement, Grab said the initiatives aim to ease the burden of high fuel expenses.

“The cost of staying on the road has become an existential concern for drivers who power the country’s ride-hailing, delivery, and motorcycle taxi networks,” the company said.

Through partnerships with Seaoil, Caltex, and Blu Energy, Grab drivers can save up to ₱4 per liter at participating stations nationwide, covering both four-wheel and two-wheel partners. The companies are working to expand the program with additional fuel partners.

Grab Finance is also rolling out a targeted rebate program for nearly 20,000 eligible drivers and riders nationwide.

From March 16 until the end of the month, drivers using active Grab Finance Shell Fuel Cards will receive a ₱3 per-liter rebate, with accumulated cashback credited directly to participants.
