GROUP URGES PUBLIC TO JOIN ‘TRILLION PESO MARCH’ ON NOV. 30

A civic group is calling on Filipinos to join the upcoming Trillion Peso March Movement set for Sunday, November 30.

In a social media post, Caritas Philippines announced that the large-scale rally will take place at the People Power Monument along EDSA in Quezon City. The group said the event aims to amplify public calls for accountability regarding alleged corruption in government.

“Filipinos will no longer stay silent against corruption. With one voice and one message, let us continue to denounce corruption and demand for justice, transparency, and accountability,” the group stated.

“Join the Trillion Peso March Movement and see you there,” it added.

Meanwhile, a large number of Muslim groups and members of the One Bangsamoro Movement (1BANGSA) are also expected to gather for a three-day protest at the EDSA People Power Monument from November 16 to 18.

During the same dates, another religious organization, the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), will hold its “Peace Rally” at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta.
