HABAGAT TO DRENCH LUZON, WESTERN VISAYAS — PAGASA

Luzon and Western Visayas will continue to experience rains due to the prevailing southwest monsoon or habagat, the state weather bureau said Friday.

In its 4AM bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that scattered rains and thunderstorms across Luzon could trigger flash floods or landslides.

Western Visayas, meanwhile, will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will also see localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA added that light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected across the archipelago.

As of 2AM, the bureau said no low-pressure area is being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation.
