The House Committee on Justice has issued a subpoena to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, directing him to appear before its April 14 hearing and present copies of Vice President Sara Duterte’s Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).
According to the subpoena testificandum et duces tecum, Remulla is ordered to attend the session at 10:00 a.m. at the People’s Center, House of Representatives in Quezon City.
The subpoena requires Remulla to submit Duterte’s SALN records covering 2007 to 2013, and 2016 to 2025.
The order, dated March 31, was signed by Batangas 2nd District Representative Gerville Luistro, chairperson of the House Committee on Justice, House Speaker Faustino Dy III, and House Secretary General Atty. Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil.
The committee has already begun hearings on the two remaining impeachment complaints against Duterte to determine whether probable cause exists for elevating the cases to the Senate for trial.
