The House Committee on Infrastructure will focus its next hearing on companies linked to businesswoman Sarah Discaya.
According to Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon, who chairs the committee, they will compel Discaya to attend the hearing scheduled on September 9 (Tuesday).
The House has already issued subpoenas not only to Discaya but also to other executives of companies implicated in previous hearings.
Ridon emphasized that attendance is not negotiable.
“Ang pagdalo sa pagdinig ay hindi ‘optional,’” he stressed, warning that if they continue to ignore the summons, warrants of arrest or contempt orders will be issued against them.
