Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) chairperson and retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Andres Reyes Jr. gave a brief comment on the surrender of government contractor Sarah Discaya to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the cancellation of former Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co’s passport.
In an ambush interview at the ICC Main Office in Taguig on Wednesday, December 10, Reyes was asked about Discaya and Co.
“We’re being blessed by God,” he replied.
Discaya personally surrendered to the NBI on December 9 following the announcement by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. of a warrant of arrest against her.
On the same day, Marcos also revealed that Co’s passport had been canceled.
