ICI SEEKS IMMIGRATION LOOKOUT BULLETIN FOR OFFICIALS LINKED TO FLOOD CONTROL ANOMALY

The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has requested the Department of Justice (DOJ) to issue an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against several individuals linked to the ongoing investigation into anomalous flood control projects.

The request, filed on October 13, covers the following individuals:

  • Former Caloocan 2nd District Representative Mitch Cajayon-Uy
  • Art Atayde, father of Quezon City 1st District Representative Arjo Atayde
  • Alvin Tan
  • Bong Marasigan
  • Elmer de Leon
  • Ed Fuentebella
  • Johnny Santos
  • John Mary Vianney Parago
  • Alvin Mariano
  • Ryan Uy
  • Darryl Recio
  • Nestor Venturina
  • Benjie Tocol
  • District Engineer Aristotle Ramos
  • District Engineer Michael Rosaria
  • Engineer Angelita Garucha

The DOJ clarified that the ILBO is not a travel ban, but a mechanism to alert immigration authorities about the movements of the individuals under investigation.

The ICI earlier launched a probe into alleged irregularities in flood control spending, following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive for a full audit of infrastructure projects across the country.
