The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has officially concluded its planned three-day “Rally for Transparency and a Better Democracy” at the Quirino Grandstand on Monday, November 17.
According to INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala, the religious organization decided to end the event earlier than scheduled due to the exhaustion of attendees.
“It did not need three days to achieve the goal of sending the message that we are calling for justice, accountability, transparency, and peace,” Zabala said.
Several INC members expressed hope that the rally’s conclusion will lead to clarity and resolution within the government, as well as accountability for those involved in longstanding corruption issues.
The event was initially planned to run until November 18 before INC leaders opted to wrap it up ahead of time.
