Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson expressed his support for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., who recently turned emotional in his podcast over alleged anomalies in the government’s flood control projects.
In a social media post, Lacson highlighted the significance of Marcos’ launch of the “Sumbong Sa Pangulo” website, which provides the public with a channel to report questionable flood control projects.

Lacson assured that he will continue to back Marcos’ efforts to hold accountable those behind the irregularities.
“We feel you, Mr President. You have given me and my team the firm resolve to do our part in exposing, even compiling solid evidence to nail these ‘greedy flood-control profiteers’ and their cohorts both in the public and private sectors. We have your back, Sir,” Lacson said.
Lacson has long been a vocal critic of corruption in flood control projects, exposing contractors and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) allegedly profiting from anomalous deals.
