LACSON STANDS FIRM AMID ONLINE ATTACKS, DRAWS SUPPORT FROM NETIZENS

Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman and Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson on Saturday, October 4, stood his ground against those taking swipes at him on social media, saying he does not initiate fights but never backs down from one.

In a post on X, Lacson wrote:
“I don’t start a fight but I usually fight back. Mock me with nonsense, I’ll respond with silence. Insult me with falsehoods, I’ll insult you back with facts. I can’t stand fakes and hypocrites — the kind that picks a fight then smiles and shakes my hand after.”

The senator also shared the same statement on his Facebook account, where he received waves of support from netizens who lauded his straightforwardness.

Although Lacson did not name anyone in his remarks, his post comes amid ongoing buzz online over his supposed rift with Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga.
