The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has suspended three transport network companies (TNCs) for one year due to alleged franchise violations and failure to comply with agency regulations.
In a statement, the LTFRB confirmed that Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Get Express Global Corporation, and Ipara Technology and Solutions Inc. were penalized after failing to respond to show-cause orders issued against them.
The agency said the companies did not meet existing requirements for ride-hailing services, particularly the absence of an active, internet-based technology system for partner drivers and clients—a key condition to ensure safe, efficient, and transparent operations.
LTFRB chairperson Vigor Mendoza emphasized that the firms were given ample opportunity to explain but did not submit any response.
The agency previously released advisories on the suspension of the three TNCs and urged commuters and prospective ride-hailing operators to avoid transacting with the suspended companies.
