MARCOS APPROVES ₱5,000 PRODUCTIVITY INCENTIVE FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has approved a ₱5,000 incentive for government employees, Malacañang announced Friday, following the Department of Budget and Management’s (DBM) circular on the new bonus.

The grant is aimed at “government employees as a reward for exceeding agency and financial performance targets, and to motivate employee efforts toward higher productivity,” according to the DBM circular released on December 17, 2025.

Eligible recipients include personnel from national government agencies, local government units, state universities and colleges (SUCs), government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), and uniformed services.
