Filipinos’ satisfaction with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. remained largely unchanged in the final quarter of 2025, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released on Tuesday, February 3.
The nationwide poll, conducted from November 24 to 30, 2025 among 1,200 adults, showed 40% satisfied, 43% dissatisfied, and 17% undecided. This translated to a net satisfaction rating of -3%, which SWS classified as “neutral,” a slight improvement from the -5 rating recorded in September 2025.
Regionally, Marcos posted his highest net satisfaction in Balance Luzon at moderate +13, followed by the Visayas at neutral +2. Ratings were weaker in Metro Manila at poor -17 and Mindanao at poor -29.
Compared to the previous quarter, satisfaction rose in the Visayas and Balance Luzon but dropped sharply in Metro Manila, while Mindanao remained largely unchanged.
Rural areas registered a notable increase, with net satisfaction rising from neutral -8 to neutral +9. In contrast, urban areas saw a decline from neutral -1 to poor -14.
By gender, Marcos’ rating improved slightly among women, rising from poor -11 to neutral -6, while it stayed at net zero among men.
By age group, the largest gains were seen among those aged 18–24 and 45–54, while satisfaction declined among 35–44-year-olds and those aged 55 and above. Ratings among 25–34-year-olds remained unchanged.
In terms of education, the President’s highest net satisfaction was recorded among those with no formal schooling or some elementary education at moderate +19.
Ratings were lower among junior high school graduates and those with some senior high school or college education.
