MARCOS TO ATTEND 32ND APEC SUMMIT IN SOUTH KOREA THIS WEEK

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is set to attend the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in South Korea this week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed on Tuesday, October 28.

According to DFA spokesperson Angelica Escalona, the President will be in South Korea from October 30 to November 2, where he is expected to advance the country’s economic interests and promote stronger partnerships with other APEC member economies.

Escalona added that four outcome documents are expected to be finalized during the summit, highlighting key agreements among the participating nations.

Before his arrival in South Korea, Marcos is currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to take part in the 47th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, where discussions center on regional cooperation and shared economic growth.
