Nearly 1.2 million applications for voters’ registration have been processed nationwide for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) set on November 2, according to data released Monday by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
The running total has reached 1,187,115, with 629,863 female and 557,252 male applicants.
Of these, 920,122 applied as regular voters, including 324,536 new registrants aged 18 and above.
COMELEC figures also showed 340,999 transfers from other cities/municipalities, 73,582 transfers within the same locality, and 48,634 reactivations.
For the SK polls, 266,993 new registrants aged 15 to 17 have filed applications.
The registration period, which resumed on October 20, 2025, will run until May 18.
