Antipolo City 1st District Representative Ronaldo Puno revealed that members of the National Unity Party (NUP) are preparing to file cyber libel complaints against suspended Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga, following his allegation that they were bribed.
Puno, who chairs the NUP, said his lawyers have already completed drafting the complaint.
So I think all of us are going to be filing,” Puno stated.
He was referring to a post by Batangas lawmaker Leandro Leviste alleging that business tycoon Enrique Razon bribed NUP members to support the speakership of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
So baka next week baka hanggang 40 yung mga suits na mapa-file laban sa kanya,” Puno added, pointing to the individuals shown in photos posted by Barzaga on social media.
The disclosure comes after Razon himself filed two cyber libel complaints against Barzaga last Wednesday, seeking ₱100 million in moral damages and ₱10 million in exemplary damages before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
