OVER 1.35M PASSENGERS EXPECTED AT NAIA DURING HOLY WEEK

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is bracing for a surge of travelers this Holy Week, with passenger traffic projected to exceed 1.35 million, according to the New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC).

NNIC estimates that 1,353,265 passengers will pass through NAIA from March 28 to April 5, slightly higher than the 1,326,730 recorded in 2025.

The busiest day is expected to be April 5, Easter Sunday, with up to 158,884 passengers. Terminal 3 is anticipated to handle the largest share, accommodating 712,932 travelers.

To manage the influx, NNIC has implemented measures such as deploying additional personnel, extending service hours, and strengthening coordination with government agencies and airlines.

Travelers are advised to arrive early, monitor flight updates, and complete eTravel registration to avoid delays and inconvenience.
