OVER 19,000 COMPLAINTS FILED ON “SUMBONG SA PANGULO” WEBSITE — PALACE

The Palace announced that more than 19,000 complaints have been filed through the “Sumbong sa Pangulo” website since its launch.

During a press briefing on Thursday, October 9, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro reported that the total number of submissions has reached 19,729.

She added that the website may be closed once there are no longer new reports coming in.

The “Sumbong sa Pangulo” platform was launched last August to allow the public to directly relay complaints and observations on irregularities in flood control projects.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. earlier assured citizens that he personally reads each submission.

He also clarified that the government will act on all verified reports, regardless of who may be involved.

“It might be a little painful baka masangkot diyan yung mga tao na malapit sa atin.
