Senator Robin Padilla confirmed that he has no plans to run in the 2028 national elections.
This statement came after Padilla responded to a post by a supporter of Vice President Sara Duterte, who expressed interest in including him in a possible Senate slate if Duterte runs for President in 2028.
“Maraming salamat po. Pero wag niyo na po ako isama sa line up at hindi na po ako matakbo sa 2028. Mabuhay po,” Padilla said.
Padilla notably topped the 2022 senatorial race, garnering over 26 million votes.
