PALACE DISMISSES TULFO’S CLAIM OF MISSING ₱50-M

Malacañang is rushing to contain a new controversy after columnist Ramon Tulfo alleged that former Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Jay Ruiz was removed over a missing ₱50 million supposedly kept in the agency’s vault.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro flatly denied the accusation when asked about Tulfo’s post.

“Wala pong katotohanan,” she said, rejecting the claim that the alleged stash was intended to fund pro-administration influencers and vloggers.

Tulfo wrote that his “tweety bird” inside the PCO tipped him off about the supposed fund, its disappearance, and the decision not to involve authorities due to questions about the money’s origin.

Ruiz, who was sworn in by President Bongbong Marcos only months earlier, quietly left amid an internal reshuffle — a move the Palace insists has nothing to do with any alleged missing funds.
