Malacañang dismissed Vice President Sara Duterte’s claim that the administration targets lawmakers who communicate with her, calling the remarks baseless and fabricated.
Communications Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the statements were part of a wider spread of misinformation.
“It’s another story-telling, a lie,” Castro said during a Palace briefing.
She added that critics have also circulated fake content against the President and First Lady.
Castro further expressed disbelief over the alleged harassment, saying critics could “tell it to the Marines.”
So, sa mga ganyang statement, just tell it to the Marines,” she said.
