President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. received a notable 10% increase in public trust following the 2025 national and local elections, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group.
The survey, conducted from June 25 to 29, 2025, interviewed 1,200 respondents nationwide and had a margin of error of ±3.0%.
President Marcos’ trust rating rose to 48% in June, up from 38% in May. Stratbase Group President Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit described the jump as “significant,” citing a “possible renewed public confidence in his administration.”

Vice President Sara Duterte, despite facing an ongoing impeachment trial in the Senate, retained her trust rating at 61%, demonstrating a stable public perception of her leadership.

Meanwhile, Senate President Chiz Escudero also saw gains, climbing from 47% to 55%, an 8-point increase amid criticism over delays in the VP impeachment proceedings.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez experienced the same 8-point rise, posting a 34% trust rating in June, up from 26% in May.

The survey results suggest a potential shift in public sentiment and confidence toward the country’s top political leaders following the high-stakes May 2025 polls.
