President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. joined Filipinos in celebrating Easter Sunday, marking the culmination of Holy Week and the proclamation of Christ’s Resurrection.
In his message, the President emphasized that Easter serves as a powerful reminder that suffering is not the end, but the beginning of transformation, unity, hope, and compassion.
He underscored that Christ’s resurrection affirms His unwavering promise and demonstrates that even in the darkest times, faith leads to light.
“I join the entire Filipino nation in celebrating Easter Sunday, the triumphant culmination of Holy Week and the sacred proclamation of Christ’s Resurrection,” Marcos said.
The President called on Filipinos to rise with renewed purpose, persevere through challenges, and embrace a deeper sense of responsibility toward one another. He stressed the importance of solidarity, noting that no obstacle is insurmountable when faced collectively.
Marcos also urged citizens to show the world the Filipino spirit of care and unity, encouraging everyone to move forward together under the vision of a “Bagong Pilipinas.”
