PNP-ACG ARRESTS 332 IN CYBERCRIME CRACKDOWN

The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) reported a major crackdown on online offenses, arresting 332 individuals from January to March 2026.

According to the agency, 205 suspects were caught in entrapment operations, while 119 were wanted persons. Another eight individuals were apprehended through warrants to search, seize, and examine computer data.

During the first quarter, authorities implemented 337 cyber warrants and handled 593 cases. The group also conducted 7,129 cyber patrols and 226 digital forensic examinations, rescuing 74 victims in the process.

The PNP-ACG emphasized that these operations highlight its intensified campaign against cybercrime, targeting online fraud, scams, and other digital offenses that continue to rise nationwide.
