Executive Secretary Ralph Recto met with officials of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) on January 23 to discuss initiatives aimed at fostering stronger and more inclusive growth in the region.
Present at the meeting were MinDA chair Leo Magno, Undersecretary Janet Lopoz, Undersecretary Ike Bravo, and Assistant Secretary Romeo Montenegro.
Recto and MinDA representatives tackled strategies to advance peace and security, strengthen the investment climate, and accelerate sustainable growth across Mindanao.
They also exchanged views on aligning the region’s priorities with the administration’s broader economic agenda, focusing on job creation, infrastructure expansion, and inclusive development.
The discussions underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring Mindanao keeps pace with national development goals while promoting stability and opportunity for its communities.
