SANDRO MARCOS VOWS FULL COOPERATION WITH ICI PROBE ON FLOOD CONTROL ANOMALIES

Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative and House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos has expressed his readiness to appear before the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) as it investigates alleged anomalies in flood control projects.

In a letter made public through his Facebook post on Thursday, November 27, Marcos addressed ICI chairperson and retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Andres Reyes Jr., stating his respect for the commission and his willingness to assist in its probe.

“I extend my full respect to the work of the Independent Commission on Infrastructure and its efforts to uncover the truth behind the ongoing investigation on Flood Control projects,” Marcos wrote.

He emphasized that he was prepared to personally show up before the ICI.

“Let me state this clearly and without hesitation: I am willing to appear before the Commission at any time. I welcome the opportunity to shed light on any matter that may assist your review,” he said.

Marcos added that he was ready to communicate, respond to questions, and provide clarifications needed to help move the investigation forward.

“I stand ready to cooperate, answer questions, and provide any clarification needed to move this investigation forward,” he noted.

This comes after former Ako Bicol Party-list Representative Zaldy Co alleged in a video statement posted on November 25 that Marcos supposedly had over ₱50 billion worth of insertions.
