Senate President Tito Sotto on Tuesday advised those criticizing Senator Bato dela Rosa’s absence from the Senate to file an ethics complaint.
He noted that prolonged absences are not uncommon among lawmakers, citing House members who may skip sessions for a year yet continue to receive their salaries.
Diba? O eto, 2 to 3 weeks pa lang.”
Sotto also mentioned that Dela Rosa has not communicated with him but reassured that the Senate continues to operate normally.
